Sunny’s Thai began with a father, a son, and a small, nameless Thai restaurant they used to visit together a hidden gem that quickly became their favourite spot. It was modest, welcoming, and served food they both loved. Wanting to give it an identity of their own, they decided to call it “Sunny’s” a name that captured the warmth, joy, and simplicity of those shared meals.

Now, the son has brought that spirit to London.

Opening Sunny’s Thai here is his way of paying tribute to his father and the memories they created. The name is a dedication a way of keeping those moments alive through the food they both adored. Our dishes are rooted in traditional Thai flavours, made with fresh ingredients and plenty of heart. From fragrant curries to wok-fried noodles and bold street food favourites, every plate is a celebration of Thailand’s rich culinary heritage.

Sunny’s Thai is more than just a restaurant  it’s a story of family, flavour, and the special places that stay with us. We’re proud to bring a taste of Thailand to London, and to share a little sunshine with everyone who walks through our doors.
